This page is purely for you, as writers / readers to ask and answer questions.

As per every other page of this blog, I will be keeping an eye on comments so please be nice to each other… but then you’re writers, I wouldn’t expect anything less. 🙂

The good ones will go on this page. Here’s one to start you off…

  • How to write every day? Pretend every month is November and you have to write 50,000 words in the month (for http://nanowrimo.org). Of course few people can write 1,667 words a day but just 300 is 100,000 a year (109,500 actually) and everyone can find the time to write 300 words. There’s also http://storyaday.org where you have to write a story a day from prompts given. Again, because it’s a deadline, it’s a target. I create a spreadsheet every NaNoWriMo with a balance of what I should achieve so something like that on a daily basis could work. I write a short story a day Feb to October and post it on my blog (which I’ve been rerunning on http://shortstorydaily.wordpress.com) so knowing that people are expecting a short story a day makes me do it. It’s whatever works for you. If you need motivation, a deadline is hard to beat.

We'd love to have your feedback - thank you!
